🔹 About APEC Center of Excellence (CoE)

The APEC Regulatory Harmonization Steering Committee (RHSC) launched the Center of Excellence (CoE) initiative to promote regulatory convergence and build capacity among APEC economies. Each CoE delivers training programs in specific areas of regulatory importance, supporting the implementation of internationally harmonized standards.

6 Areas of training covered by APEC CoEs include:

• Multi-Regional Clinical Trials (MRCT) & Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Inspection
• Medical Product Quality and Supply Chain Integrity
• Biotherapeutics/Advanced Therapies
• Pharmacovigilance (PV)
• Medical Devices
• Good Registration Management (GRM)

CoEs are designated by the RHSC and are operated by qualified institutions within APEC member economies. These training programs aim to provide practical knowledge and tools to regulatory authorities, industry, and other stakeholders across the region.
